Tec7 X-Tack assembly adhesive, black

In addition to gluing the foils, it is wise to fix them mechanically with, for example, stainless steel screws. See product photos.

Tec7 X-Tack is the best installation solution for permanent fitting of RandallFoils on blades so far. Tec7 X-Tack creates an initial adhesion of 22 kg per cm², making it almost unnecessary to keep the Randallfoils in place with tape on most blade shapes. The only exception are the blades of Concept2 with vortex edges, with their top edge of the blade bent downwards. By slightly heating the Randallfoils with, for example, a hot air gun, the foils can be bent in such a way that they fit on these blades.

Tec7 X-Tack is exceptionally strong, but it remains elastic.

How to use it: the Tec7 X-Tack needs 2-3 mm glue thickness to create a solid bond. Do not press the blade too deep into the groove of the Randall Foil, but make sure that you keep enough X-Tack between the Randall Foil and the blade. Although your RandallFoil seems to be quickly glued, we recommend that you cure the glue for at least 24 hours.

How much do you need? One cartridge is sufficient for 16 blades:
For example, 2 eights, or 2 quadrupples, or 4 fours, or 4 doubles, or 8 singles.

Pay attention! You need a strong cartridge gun to use X-Tack. A power ratio of 1:18 is required to prevent painful hands.
