We do:
- Insurance Work
- Big damages, eg broken boats
- Minor damages, such as scratches or dents
- Maintenance, eg complete refurbishments
It is important to take detailed photos of damage.
Also show a ruler or rolled-out tape measure in the photos to get an idea of the extent of the damage.
Also take photos of different angles of the damage. This simplifies the process of preparing a quotation.
Don't take too many photos that are too large (MBs).
Also record information such as the boat builder, type (single, pair, etc.), model, serial number and the name of the boat.
And of course the description of the damage and how the damage occurred.
If you send details and photos, we will contact you as soon as possible.
We can usually immediately give an indication of the costs.
Sometimes not. Then we can only prepare a quote once we have the boat in the workshop, because the photos, for example, do not give us a clear picture of the damage.
We would be happy to receive the boat in our workshop for a precise quote.
After approval of the quote, the repair or maintenance will be scheduled.
Boats are being worked on in order of arrival.
The repair or maintenance is carried out by experienced professionals.
Be aware that we are located in the Netherlands and do not collect your boat.
You can bring your boat yourself, but transport to or from our workshop in Utrecht is in many cases also possible through combining transports to and from regattas or other rowing events.
Report your damage now!
Extra tip: always report collisions to your insurance company. This is the case even if your boat has not suffered any damage. By doing this, you protect your rights and avoid being held liable.
